I'm sure many people (like me) have family or friends who have been affected by cancer. Macmillan and the other cancer charities provide fantastic support to many people and need donations to continue this valuable work.

I love playing golf and I am very thankful that this is something that I am fit and able to do. So this year I was motivated by the Macmillan slogan 'Play golf - change lives' and I'm undertaking the Longest Day Golf challenge on 5th July. So what's special about this challenge ? Well it means playing 4 rounds of golf, walking about 20 miles and playing over 300 golf shots, while carrying, pulling or pushing my golf clubs (which weigh about the same as your holiday suitcase) all in one day. Thankfully I managed to persuade 2 of my best mates to do it with me.
