Story

Elite Dangerous is a game I play.  I played the original (released in 1984)  I played the follow-ups of Frontier and First Encounters in the 90's.  30 Years on I now play the latest release.

Around this game an amazing community has built up, and one of Frontier Developments supported charities is Special Effect.  They do their best to make computer gaming available to those who don't necessarily have the motor skills or physical musculo-skeletal abilities able bodied people enjoy, in the use of game controllers.

A few simple changes, or a complete reworking of these controllers is all that is needed to transform the lives of adults and children alike.  Opening their world beyond the doors of their homes and gardens, into a whole galaxy to explore, and leave their mark.

I've played this game since its launch, and having made my way to 99% Deadly in Combat, I decided to reach 99% Tycoon in Trade, and 99% Pioneer in Exploration.  Once achieved I would attempt to attain the coveted triple Elite rankings in a single 4 hour sitting.

Once decided on this, as all things it escalated to firstly a stream.  Then doing it at the Fantasticon Event in Hull, and now the attempt to raise money for charity.

More details of timeslot at the event and stream details to follow.
