As a family we decided to do something to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone (NI).  We are all in training to do the 26 miles each of this year's Belfast Marathon which takes place on Monday 2nd May and have set up a Fight Back Fund -  4 Run 4 MND. 

Our dad, Aidan, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone 7 years ago and he has inspired us to take on this challenge.  Dad was a keen sportsman - he played hurling at club level for Dunloy Cuchullains, and represented Antrim at County Level.  Following that he took up Golf and Cycling.  We would also like to follow in his steps and complete the Belfast Marathon - one he ran under 4 hours.  A time that we can only dream of at this stage of our training!
