Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself and 3 other guys are trying to raise enough money to send Little George and his family to Lapland this Christmas. George was diagnosed with leukemia in January 2016 and this trip will help provide him and his family a memory they will never forget.
So, firstly, let me tell you a little about George himself:
His wicked sense of humour means that everyone falls in love with 'Georgie Roo' from the moment they meet him. His big blue eyes suck you in first then his clever, cheeky personality has you hooked. This boy has rhythm and loves dancing and music just like his Daddy.
George is one of the bravest boys you’ll know and since his leukemia diagnosis he has wowed us in every way with his straight talking and acceptance of his illness and treatment.
Secondly, a bit more detail on what are we trying to do?:
George & his family have been through so much since January that we would love to give them all a holiday that they will never forget and memories that they will treasure for a lifetime. Lapland is a place that all children would love to visit but unfortunately because of the cost it is not possible - therefore we want to make this a reality!
This is a truly wonderful family and how they have coped is an inspiration to us all. George also has an older brother & sister, Oliver & Harriet, who have been there every step of the way and have been a constant source of happiness for George who loves spending time with them very much. Therefore this is also a treat for them for being such incredibly wonderful kids and supporting their brother
I know that some people are not able to give much but please give as much as you can and help create some lasting memories for all of this great family.
