Hello! My name is Miguel, I am 34 years old, Iwas born in Porto, Portugal but I live in Cambridge United Kingdom for almost four years.
A new job opened a window in my annual leave calendar for this month. Holidays but nothing booked, what should I do?
Stay at home looking to its beautiful walls? Spend all my last salary in a all inclusive stay in Benidorm? These solutions were not under my preferences so I had an idea:
- And if I use something that I like to do (cycling) as a way of being useful to other people?
And the idea has matured, there was not a long time left but soon I started to draw an interesting challenge. Leave home and in 5 days cycle on the roads of 5 countries: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and France.

Olá, eu sou o Miguel, tenho 34 anos, nasci no Porto, Portugal e vivo em Cambridge no Reino Unido há quase quatro anos.
Uma mudança de emprego abriu uma janela no meu calendário para este mês. Dias de férias para tirar mas nada marcado, o que fazer?
Ficar em casa a olhar para as paredes? Gastar todo o último ordenado numas férias em Benidorm? Não me pareciam as soluções até que surgiu a ideia:
- E se eu utilizasse algo que gosto de fazer (andar de bicicleta) para fazer algo útil?
E então a ideia foi amadurecendo, o tempo não é muito mas depressa comecei a pensar num desafio interessante. Sair de casa e em 5 dias pedalar pelas estradas 6 países: Reino Unido, Holanda, Bélgica, Alemanha, Luxemburgo e França.
