I'm proud to say that I hold the Bronze, Silver & Gold DofE Awards. The DofE gave me my first taste of expeditions and the expedition section was definitely my favourite part of the DofE. I had no idea that it would one day lead me to the summit of Mount Everest.

I'm doing an adventurous Diamond Challenge to raise money so that the DofE can hopefully continue for another 60 years! 

Here are my 60 days of adventure as they unfold!

Day 1 - Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim - a bracing jump into the sea on the coldest, wettest, windiest swim on record!

Day 2/3 - Alpine Challenge, Morzine - a two day ski competition in the French Alps visiting 33 checkpoints and covering almost 200km. Finished in 5th position out of 21 teams.

Day 3-10 - 7 day trek in the Simien Mountains, Ethiopia including an ascent of Ras Dashen, Ethiopia's highest peak (4,543 metres).

Day 11 - another 20km of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with my dad, from Sandy Haven, around Dale Head and back to Dale.
