Story

Hi,

I am raising money for Save the Children in Haiti by attempting my first 100 mile cycle ride on 28th March 2010, cycling the Cheshire Cat.

We all know what happened Haiti and the immensity of the tragedy there. Save the Children have been working in Haiti for last 25 years and have one hundred people on the ground.  Fortunately their offices weren't structurally damaged by the earth quake. It seems they are well placed to help. Their main task at the moment is to provide life saving supplies to the children and their families.  So if you have any spare money please give, and if you do, don't forget to to gift aid it really boosts the overall donations.

The guys at Save the Children sent me this link about the effects of the quake on one family http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/haiti360/

Many thanks

Andrew Barley

p.s. that's Mow Cop Hill on the left, a notorious one in four hill on the Cheshire Cat
