I am undertaking this gruelling challenge to raise as much as I can to help combat this terrible condition.  More and more people year on year are affected by this terrible disease. My father has been battling Alzheimer's / Dementia for nearly a decade and is now in the final stages and can no longer speak, recognise people or do the basics that we all take for granted.  

Help me in uniting to raise money for the Alzheimers Society to support the work that they do in investing in research to providing dementia care, cause, cure and prevention as well as care.  Campaigning at all levels to ensure that there is greater awareness at all levels within our society as well as providing local services and support to people with dementia, their families, friends and carers.
