Acteon Communication and Learning are organising a Danceathon to raise money for Cambridge Children’s Charity Week (CCCW) (https://www.camccweek.org/). All proceeds raised from the Danceathon will go, without deduction, to The Cambridge Children's Charity Fund, administered by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation – registered charity 1103314.

Local, small charities often get overlooked. They are not big enough to get noticed – so CCCW are making some noise on their behalf. Most funding available to these charities is project based and small charities find it extremely difficult to raise monies for the essential core costs of actually running and delivering their services, ie. keeping the lights on! Cambridge is a successful City focused on large scale global change that risks missing some of the real challenges that exist just around the corner.

All money raised from the Danceathon will go towards the vital costs of the many charities that support the children and young people of Cambridge who face disadvantage or difficulties.

In addition to funds raised by sponsorship from each individual dancer, Acteon will donate £1 for every hour danced, with a minimum donation of £1,000.
