On the 13th February 2017 I shall be reaching for the stars in aid of Cancer Research, this will involve climbing Adams Peak in central Sri Lanka. 👍.

I would like to dedicate this climb in memory of my friend Vicky Ellis who was sadly taken from us at the age of 25 years after a long battle with cancer xx

The mountain is 2,243m or in old money 7,359 ft.  The climb will commence at 1am and take 4-5 hours, hopefully I will be up there in time for a brilliant sunrise, and yes you guessed it the climb will be done in the dark!!!   The climb is not easy and I know will involve pain as there are a total of 5,500 steep steps up the mountain and unfortunately the same number down again.

WHY.... I hear you cry??  Because I am sure that at some point in our lives a close relative, friend, spouse or even ourselves may be struck down by this dreadful disease so even if I raise a small amount it will go towards this valuable charity, who are dedicated to finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and to save more lives. 

Please help me raise money for this valuable charity as "every little helps".
