One balmy autumn evening, 4 old friends were enjoying a glass or two of cider and felt an urge to do something to fend off creeping middle age and help people who deserve all the support they can get.

Said Steve "a mate of mine just finished the London to Paris Bike ride and said it was awesome" and lo, an idea sparked and agreement was made.

We will be doing all we can to raise as much money as we can and we'd welcome all the help we can get so we can help the men and women who helped and help keep us in the blanket of security and democracy we enjoy
