Story

Every year, Al-Lawh Institute helps to raise funds for noble causes globally during Ramadan. This year, we have decided to assist Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust achieve their goals of sponsoring poor children to realise their dreams of becoming Huffaaz.

Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust® Hafiz sponsorship program supports many children to fulfil their ambitions. It is a one-to-one sponsorship scheme where a sole donor is allocated a child who is memorizing the Qur’an. Donors are updated with regular feedback. It normally takes 2-3 years for a child to memorise the entire Holy Qur’an.

  • Hafiz Sponsorship in Islam

The Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) said:

The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it to others. (Hafiz Quran Sponsorship

This is a noble scheme and we urge all donors to consider sponsoring at least one child to become a hafiz of the Qur’an. The reward for such a virtuous deed will pay dividends in the after-life. It costs £540 for a full sponsorship of a child to memorize the whole Qur’an. Alternatively, donate as little or as much as you wish and the funds will be pooled together to help raise beautiful Huffaaz inShaAllah! We have always exceeded our targets so we are certain that, this year again, we will dig deep and achieve our goals! Lets do this :)

Allah bless you all. Aameen.
