"My Impossible" before I am 50 !
Fundraising for Jane Tomlinson Appeal

In January 2015 I talked with family and friends about doing an Ironman before I was 50, "Whats that? It's a Triathlon - 2.4 mi swim, 112mi cycle and a nice short Marathon run 26.2mi, 140 miles in total non stop in hopefully 12 -13hrs, a great day out !"
"Your nuts ....No get a sports car,..go on the Lions Rugby tour to New Zealand...." non of the suggestions did it for me, so in July 2015 I signed up for my first , but not last, IRONMAN, my journey began...
My goal is to achieve "My Impossible" a challenge I do think I can do and to fund raise for a Cancer charity through Jane Tomlinson Trust, an ordinary woman and mum who while was battling with cancer achieving the extraordinary, including an IRONMAN to raise awareness of how it affects many people.
I am doing this in memory of my Mum & Dad who were taken too young at 61, 15 months apart, character building !
My little sister too at 40 was diagnosed with breast cancer, my in-laws and others affected by cancer but all survivors !
With 5 day a week training entering its peak , which helps me sleep the 17th July 2016 Is getting very real . It will be happy memories and the encouragement from family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours...that keeps me going.
