My brother was born in Wrexham. He died from meningitis aged 3 years old.

On Monday, 3rd October 2016, I gave a talk to Accrington Probus Club on Growing Up in Accrington. The proceeds raised £225 which I donated to the Meningitis Research Foundation. This disease still kills and maimes youngsters and teenagers.

Thank you to Bob Dobson for donating some books to sell which, added to my speakers fee, contributed to the donation.
