I served with Mick in 752 Signal Troop in Ilford from the late 70's and as we were both ex-regulars we had a similar outlook on life.   We only lived less than a mile apart so even after I left the TA, we still kept in contact with eventually us both on the committee of the East London Branch of the Royal Signals Association.  Mick will be missed both as a friend and for the valuable work he did for the Association.
