Last year we really appreciated the fundraising support we got for the walk to Wembley, with this seasons equivalent match being played at the London Stadium in Stratford, the distance of the walk has doubled so we are going to have to really look at doubling up our fundraising efforts!

This year the plan is to join many other Saracens supporters as we embark on a 21km walk that will take us over beautiful Hampstead Heath, through the Parklands Way, and along the River Lea to the amazement of the London Stadium pitch, before sitting down to watch Saracens take on Harlequins.

Over 14,000 people every year are treated for cancer at University College Hospital, and this number is rising annually. The patients come from across the UK though mostly within North London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

University College Hospital aims to ensure that all people with cancer, their families and carers receive a world-class service from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. To achieve this aim and to support the patients, they have created the University College Hospital Cancer Fund which assists with important areas of work above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide.

By risking a few blisters, and sacrificing a couple of pre-match pints, Ben and I hope our efforts of walking to the Saracens v Harlequins match will help to support this fantastic charity.
