Liverpool To Leeds 127mile cycle · 3 June 2016

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Recently my Father was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and its only when you start to look at MND that you really get a feel for what an absolutely devastating disease this is. There has been some progress in stem cell research into other diseases which may translate well into cures.. or a least ways in which you can slow down the progress of the disease. Like with anything though it costs bloody money. I have decided to cycle the canal towpath from Liverpool to Leeds all 127.5 miles of poorly maintained marshland and jagged bricks in order to give to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Please give this fat old smokey lunged bastard some money to make it seem worthwhile - or join me and help raise money to fight this awful bloody disease.
