Story

In 2016 we adopted two lovely cats, Boogie and Buzz (who can  be seen posing in the photos below), from Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre.

Freshfields Animal Rescue has been caring for abused, abandoned and unwanted animals across Merseyside and North Wales for over 30 years.  All year round their 2 Rescue Centres rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 2,000 dogs, cats, horses, small animals, unwanted farm animals and wild birds. They are often the last chance for animals who have been turned away from other centres, due to significant medical or behavioural problems.

About the charity

Freshfields Animal Rescue puts your values into practice. We believe all animals are of equal worth, and no healthy animal is ever destroyed. We rescue, rehome or release 2,000 cats, dogs, horses, farmed animals and local wildlife each year and work to prevent the problems. # No Animal Left Behind
