Putting Youth Focus North East in the record book!

I will be attempting to run the Great North Run 2019 as the fastest book character to complete a half marathon. I've chosen to run dressed as Harry Potter, a fictional icon that truly represents the work of Youth Focus North East.

Youth Focus North East is a youth work charity which improves the lives of young people. They work with young people to support and guide them through the challenges they face, such as loneliness, employment and health and wellbeing. Together with young people and partners, Youth Focus North East deliver activities and programmes which aim to address the issues young people face, and create positive opportunities for young people to reach their potential. Much like Harry Potter, we believe each young person has magic within them, they might just need support to realise it.
