Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a small charity and perfectly formed. Our organisation has served our community since 1933. We are members of the local community who give up our time and are proud to serve our community.

The Spinnaker is the most recognisable symbol in our city and we launch Portsea Rescue 1 at the Camber Dock, facing this landmark.  On average we assist 89 people per summer season and this can range from simple first aid to multi agency support of major incidents. We are volunteers from all walks of life, from office workers, mechanics, nurses, students and many more. This year has been particularly busy and we are on course to experience one of our busiest seasons ever.

As part of our community we are asking for your support in sponsoring us in this aerial insanity. Being a Lifegaurd is about challenging ourselves to do what we never thought we could and pushing past our own limits.

We are proud to be part of this wonderful city and our community.

Thank you and best wishes from not just those doing the challenge, but all of us.
