In September this year I am aiming to summit Mount Kilimanjaro in memory of my Dad, Phil Ratcliffe. The plan is to have a cheeky whisky for him at 19,341ft or 5895m, on top of the tallest mountain in Africa!

To prepare for this little adventure I have persuaded some of my family to join me in completing the Yorkshire three peaks (around April) and the National three peak challenge (June)...I think they may be starting to regret their decision!

I am hoping that through completing this 7 peak challenge, I will be able to raise money and awareness for an amazing charity, Wirral Hospice St John's. The hospice costs in the region of £4million a year to run, and whilst they do receive some NHS grants, the majority of their income is generated from donations. Every penny counts. Please give as much or as little as you can for this fantastic cause, so that they can continue to provide excellent specialist care for patients and their loved ones.
