A team of 5 staff from Alexandre Boyes and Resident have challenged ourselves to the Snowdon Midnight Trek in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.
The highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085m we will be following the Llanberis Path to the summit, an 9-mile ascent taking around 5-7 hours.
Dementia describes a set of symptoms that may include memory loss and difficulties with thinking, problem-solving or language. Dementia is caused when the brain is damaged by diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease or a series of strokes. Dementia is progressive, which means the symptoms will gradually get worse.
Currently there are 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK.
The Alzheimer’s Society provides information and support, fund medical and social research, and campaign for better quality of life for people with dementia and greater understanding of the condition.
