Race for Life is something I've always wanted to do. Cancer is such a horrible, vile disease, which has sadly affected everyone in some way or another. Medical science is advancing every day, and my main reason for entering, is to see a cure for all forms of cancer at some point in our lifetime.

Four years ago, I lost my beloved grandad to an aggressive brain tumour. To see a strong, strapping man to succumb to this illness and suffer in ways that no human should ever have to, was truly heartbreaking. Ever since he passed away in November 2012, I have vowed to complete a race in his memory alone. I aim to train hard, and complete the race for him. 

Any donation at all, however big or small would be appreciated.. I want to help give cancer the boot, for the sake of absent loved ones and present fighters.. ❤️
