Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

A close friend is currently on her own journey with cancer and I have seen first hand the invaluable positive support that Cancer Care give, not just to her but to her family as well. Cancercare support local people of all ages affected by the impact of cancer and other life limiting conditions.

CancerCare services are provided free of charge, they receive no government funding and rely totally on fundraising and generous donations - they are simply unsung heroes.

With this in mind I have decided to undertake the massive personal challenge of trekking, hiking and walking the full 100km route around the Forest of Bowland in 24 hours to raise money for Cancer Care. My target of £5000 is a challenge in itself but I am hoping that with your help I will reach my goal.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
