I have done the Loch Ness Marathon before and loved the race. Training for a marathon is always hard and it helps to know you are supporting a charity in some way, and is very motivating. 

Befrienders Highland seem like a brilliant charity. Recently, I have been struck by thinking about some particular elderly neighbours and other vulnerable people I know, and how difficult it can be I’m this day and age for them to feel that they have people to socialise with. The charity helps lots of people in this situation. 

It is important we all think about others around us as it is becoming more and more easy in a technological era to be self centred and to avoid face to face human interaction.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and I’ll run my socks off as always.
