We are raising money to celebrate the life of our dear friend Alison (d.25th August 2016). She herself raised many thousands of pounds during her life-time, particularly for medical charities such as Action research.

As mother to Alexander, her greatest wish, when he became ill with kidney disease, was to be able to donate one of her kidneys. The discovery of her cancer denied her this opportunity but her wish was granted when Alexander received the incredible gift of a kidney just before the start of 2017. A truly wonderful start to the new year. 

We know that Alison would want to show her gratitude by raising money for a cause so close to her heart.
