So I have undertaken some pretty challenging goals in the last few years, none so crazy as, at 52, to train for my first marathon. I've fundraised for many cancer charities through my running, mostly UK-based. Cancer is global though, and research is happening all over the world. I'm not the only person to have lost both of my beloved parents to this disease, an uncle, an aunt, loved ones. I've lost friends, and I have friends who are still investing all of their positive thinking in living their lives either alongside cancer, or in remission. Please, if you can afford to, support my commitment to raising as much as I can through your generosity of spirit and unconditional giving. I promise in return I will train hard for this...all through the winter months, rain, shine, and possibly even snow!
