Story

On 28th December 2017, I will be embarking on the biggest challenge of my life to date, by attempting to climb Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain.

The summit of Kilimanjaro is called Uhuru Peak and it stands at 5,895m or 19,341 feet - making it the world's tallest free standing mountain.

I have chosen to use this opportunity to raise money for Shooting Star Chase, the Surrey children's hospice - a leading children's hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life limiting conditions, and their families. For me, these children are the real heroes! I am a huge fan of the work that the hospice does, including creating precious moments to remember: www.shootingstarchase.org.uk/

Makuini (my partner in crime) and I will hopefully be summiting as the sun rises on New Year's day 2018. Please give generously. I have covered all of the costs of the trip myself and so anything that you donate will go directly to the charity. Thank you so much! I know that you all think that I'm bonkers and you are right!!
