Story


A group of 4 of us who work for Amey within the Structural Assessment team based in York are undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge, which is a 24mile circular route including 1585m of ascent, summits include: o Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres) o Whernside (736 metres) o Ingleborough (723 metres) on Friday 13th September 2019. We have chosen to support 'Refugee Action York' in doing this.


About the charity

RAY runs a drop-in, The Hub, for refugees, asylum seekers & migrants. We offer English classes, an information & support session, Turkish and Arabic classes & craft activities for children & a shared meal as well as a hardship fund. We also run a youth & sports group, and summer trips.
