Fundraising for Dove House Hospice
Story
Mike, Cal, Sammie, Me, Phil and Lloyd are doing what we can to raise money for Dove House Hospice.
Mike is one of our best friends who has sadly been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He should be turning 30 this year and has a wife and two gorgeous children under 3 who are soon to feel the massive loss this horrible disease is taking way too early.
Mike is wanting sponsorship for gaming for a day. He is going to do what he can do he feels gaming is one thing that he can do to raise a bit of money. He is currently very very tired and is only awake for short periods of time and so this will actually be very tough for him.
While Mike games Cal has pledged to do a press up for every pound raised. For me, Sammie, Phil and Lloyd we will be shaving our heads and Lloyd's beard as an extra to Mike's fund raising to help him achieve as much as possible.
The charity is very close to our hearts as they are currently providing excellent care for Mike. We all (Mike included) want to help them raise money to show our appreciation.
For those who don't know Dove House provide palliative care for people with terminal illnesses. They work tirelessly to ensure that the best care is received and this is all at no cost to the patient or their family.
We really want to raise as much money as possible before the event so please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE to help us achieve this!!!
