ADDISS provides information and support to families, adults and children who struggle daily to cope with the burden of having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We are trying to raise money to build a national network of support for families all over the country. We currently run a telephone helpline. We offer training to schools and families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I set up ADDISS over 25 years ago because of my two children who have ADHD, it has since become a national organisation having supported thousands of families over the years. We still have so much work to do to ensure people with ADHD have access to the appropriate help in order for them to have full and productive lives. Ihave been President of ADHD Europe for the past 4 years and the work we do at a European level trickles down to make a difference at a local level. Our team for this event will consist of researchers and clinicians as well as people with ADHD and their families. Please support me to raise the funds to keep our organisation functioning so we may cntinue to help thousands of families through our helpline, through our training programmes for parents and teachers and for the support we give to research and dissemination of accurate evidence based information.
