Story
Given my musculoskeletal system is now made of 80% potato waffles, the idea of me running 13.1 miles likely fills you with a strange combination of mirth, intrigue and foreboding. Amazingly, this is what I've signed up to do in mid-October, when I'll be aiming not just to cross the finish line of the Royal Parks half marathon, but do so in a half-decent time with all four limbs still vaguely attached to the right parts.
I'll be doing all this on behalf of Haller, an incredible charity designed to help sustainable farming in Kenya that my company, Red Badger, are proud to support. You can find out a lot more about them here: http://haller.org.uk
I'd hugely appreciate any donations you can muster, and can promise you it'll provide a huge incentive to me during training and in the race itself. As an additional bonus, you'll also be able to say you contributed to science when my body is inevitably carted off for medical research in the race's aftermath.
