I am not exactly a fitness fanatic, usually favouring a burger over burpees and pints over pilates.

However, I do enjoy running and the challenge of doing the London Marathon is one I just can't pass up. 

Doing it for the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital in my hometown of Oswestry was the perfect excuse to get me pounding the streets over the next six months.

I have seen first hand the magnificent care the staff at the hospital give, mainly for my grandmother, who had a hip replacement there last year while also suffering dementia.

They also looked after me that time I swallowed a pound coin, but more of that another day.

Anyway, why not encourage me to ditch the bad habits and complete the marathon while raising money for a fantastic cause.
