As some of you are aware my son, Charlie, was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis in January this year.

He has had numerous cortisone injections, X rays, eye exams, MRI scans, an injection every week with little to no complaint. He truly is my hero! 

I have over the last couple of months decided to grow a big beard and have become very attached to it, so I thought this gives me the opportunity to look a bit of an arse whilst doing something that can help him and others who are affected in the same way. 

I will continue to grow this wondrous beard until the end of November  where I will then go to the barbers to have a full clean shave on the 28th of November. All donations big and small will be gratefully received and will go towards helping support children like my Charlie get the treatment they need.
