28th June 2012 is a day i'll never forget, I received a phone call informing me my good friend Robbie had taken his own life during the night... the shock and emotion I felt was overwhelming.

Robbie was liked by everyone he met, he were the life and soul of every party, and wore the biggest smile that could light up a room... He was a keen runner, the friendly local postman, brother, son, husband and father, and friend to many... Understandably friends, family and loved ones have been left heart broken, devestated, confused and many still in disbelief...

PAPYRUS is a charity working hard to prevent suicide in young people, they were bought to my attention by Robbies family, who also put together Team Running for Robbie which i am honoured to be part of... We run in various events in memory of Robbie and to help raise awareness and money for PAPYRUS and their great work to help young people see a future and hope through their problems and darktimes...

On the 28th of April i will be running The Greater Manchester Marathon - my biggest challange yet! So therefore I have set up this just giving page to help raise money for PAPYRUS in hope that some of you good people out there will sponsor me... So please dig deep and give as little or as much as you can... every little bit helps! Lets help prevent the unspeakable sadness, pain, shock and disbelief of loosing a loved one through suicide happening to others! and erase the terrible stigma associated with mental health!
