Last autumn we said goodbye to my uncle, Colin, who had bravely managed brain cancer for the previous 3 years. Colin was a good friend and an inspirational mentor in business for me. In fact we worked together managing the original golf shows at Excel and the NEC, and he was also involved in the early days of my current business, Azalea.

Jay and Ryan were also an important part of the golf show story, and together we hold some great memories of those days working with Colin.

It seemed very fitting that we should take on the Longest Day Challenge for Macmillan this year. We're actually doing it the day before the "longest day", on 20th June, at Boughton Golf Club, not too far from Canterbury in Kent. Our thanks go to them in supporting us in this venture. We will be teeing off at 5am, 9.30am, 1.30pm, and 6pm. Four rounds of golf, 72 holes, and the best part of 28 miles (depending on how straight we hit it !!).
