RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided that I wanted to set myself a challenge following the
completion of my GCSE's and settled on training to swim from The Warren
Beach in Abersoch to St. Tudwalls island, a distance of around 5
kilometers.
Training is going well, I am alternating between a
swimming pool and the sea, when I get the chance as well as general
strength training at the gym. My schedule means that I hope to complete
the swim on Monday 20th August, as this is the optimal day for the tides, although the weather will also be a factor.
It seeemed like a great opportunity to
raise some money for charity,  the RNLI, is an  amazing organisation,  as I am sure you will agree. I would love it if you could sponsor me.
Thanks
Andy Corcoran
