Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 2nd April I will be running another 26.2 miles, this time the Manchester Marathon,  to raise much needed funds for Notts and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue.

After losing our beloved Boxer Tango in 2014 we decided we would like another Boxer. In January 2015 we fostered the wonderful Louie. He was a lovely old boy and we had the pleasure of his company until he passed away in March 2016.

In September 2016 we were given the opportunity to foster Lennox, another older dog. He was very underweight when we collected him, due to not coping with living in kennels very well. Within a few weeks of being with us he had put on weight and is no longer a bag of bones.

We are a registered charity which is run strictly on a voluntary basis by a team of dedicated people. No one is paid for the work we do, we all do this purely because of our love of the Boxer breed.
