I am taking part in the biggest challenge to date in a bid to raise money for a great cause, The Thames Challenge starts at Putney Bridge in London and finishes in Henley on Thames, This is a 100km race which needs to be completed over the weekend on 9th and 10th September.

I will be taking on this challenge by running, Jogging and Walking and if needs must crawling  the distance through the night to get over the finish line.

The reason I chose Cancer research is because, I have lost my Grandad  and other family members to cancer, I had  a health Scare last year after finding a lump and due to the history of cancer in my family was scared I had it.

After a couple of weeks of worry and stress I was finally given the all clear and was relieved that all the worry and stress was for nothing. I know there are a lot of people out there who are not so lucky and need the support of  with charities like Cancer Research

With the great work they are doing hopefully one day we will be able to beat cancer for good.  But until that day comes they need our help and support to carry on with there research and development if treatments to get us closer to that day.
