Be An Angel For Christmas!
Did you know that over 300,000 children in England and Wales have a parent in prison and the child would be spending Christmas away from that parent?
The Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree project lessens the devastation experienced over Christmas as a result of that separation, by finding sponsors to allow an inmate to send a personalised gift to their child. The project therefore supports inmates in building stronger family relationships.
The Prison Ministry at Jesus House is working in partnership with Prison Fellowship on the Angel Tree project. This year we are looking to find sponsors for 500 Christmas gifts which will be posted to the children before Christmas.
Can you help by sponsoring a gift? Each gift costs about £15 plus £5 for postage and packaging. We will be grateful to receive any amount you can give.
