Last week I joined in a trip with the charity Paws2Rescue to help socialise some of the shelter dogs for rehoming and to see first hand the plight of the stray and unloved dogs over there, - the experience will never leave me. The truth is that for most of these poor, wretched souls there is little hope, nobody is coming for them - this perpetual cycle absolutely has to stop. My aim is to raise money for the charities spay and neuter campaign and stop these innocent animals being born into this totally unnecessary cycle of misery and fear, these pups and kittens are literally born to die, unloved.
So, having thought long and hard how best to raise the money required to make a difference I have decided to shave off my hair.
Nothing will go to waste however, my hair will be donated to The Princess Trust in order for wigs to  be made for children who have lost their own due to cancer treatments so this is a win-win situation - except for me....who will be looking to buy myself a nice woollen hat!!
