In a moment of insanity, I have signed myself up to run 250km in the desert. James and I will be heading out to Jordan on 4 October to Run the Wadi Rum Run Ultra-X Marathon; covering nearly 6 marathons in 5 days. We are doing this for two fantastic causes: Care International and Harry's Giant Pledge.

Care International is a charity which provides emergency relief and long term aid to some of the poorest communities around the world. Care specifically focuses on helping girls and women empower themselves to overcome poverty, for example, by investing in female education in places where inequality is embedded in society.

Harry's Giant Pledge - after the devastating loss of their son Harry to Ewing's Sarcoma at only five, Charlotte and James are raising money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
