I can't begin to imagine what it would be like to have no sanitary products each month or even a pair of knickers to wear - but this is
the reality for the girls and women in Tanzania who my friends from Loving by Giving will be going on mission to help/support during October half term.

Our aim is send as many washable sanitary towels (check them out on Amazon!) knickers and flannels as possible, so that each woman can be given a 'sanitary kit' and also educated in this area.

Eventually, long term, we hope to teach them how to make their own, creating a cottage industry that will enable them to have income and also support other women. We do not want to just offer a quick fix -
we want to offer long term solutions and empowerment to these women and girls - but first we need to show them what a difference their 'kit' will make.... so here is my plea to you....

1 x Washable sanitary towel costs approx £2 - that's less than a Costa (other coffee brands are available!) and it will make a life changing difference. Will you give up one small luxury in the next 5 days and donate that money here instead?

I have 445 'friends' on facebook - if you all only gave just £1 each - imagine the impact we will have.
