I'm running the half marathon which is my first road race for a number of years, and have chosen the Chestnut Appeal, as all cancer charities are my choice of charity to support. The big 'C' affects us all at some point in our lives, and prostate cancer is one that all men should be aware of, and be encouraged to be tested for, as we women are with our breast mammograms and cervical smear tests. We lost our dear friend and work colleague Andy, aged only 56, recently. I'd like to dedicate this run to him and to all others who have lost loved ones to this disease.
