Objetivo conseguido! Terminé la maratón de Madrid el pasado Domingo (25-4-10) en un tiempo de 3horas 39minutos y 58segundos bajo un sol abrasador. MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS a todos quienes nos han apoyado y siguen apoyandonos.

Mission accomplished! Last Sunday (25-4-10) I finished the Madrid Marathon in 3hours 39minutes and 58seconds in the sweltering heat. THANKS to all of you who have supported us and continue doing so.

Como muchos de vosotros sabéis, a nuestra hija pequeña Ilana le diagnosticaron a la edad de año y medio (hace 2 años) SJIA - Artritis Idiopática Juvenil de forma sistémica. Desde entonces ha pasado por varios tratamientos para intentar controlar los diversos síntomas de esta enfermedad como son inflamación y daño de las articulaciones, fiebre y rash. Gracias al trabajo de investigación realizado por arc - Arthritis Research Campaign para curar la artritis, Ilana está ahora probando lo que puede ser una droga revolucionaria.

Por todo ello he decidido correr el Maratón de Madrid el Domingo 25 Abril 2010 con el fín de recaudar dinero para arc para que asi pueda seguir investigando las causas desconocidas, los tratamientos y cura de esta enfermedad.

As many of you know, our youngest daughter Ilana was diagnosed 2 years ago with SJIA – Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Since then she has been on various treatments to try to control the main symptoms of this debilitating disease which are joint swelling and damage, high temperatures and rash. Due to the enormous research work done by arc - Arthritis Research Campaign into the cures of arthritis, Ilana is taking what seems to be a revolutionary drug in clinical trials.
