The BWCA has generously chosen to raise funding for another borehole project in Shibangwa Village, Zambia. The project will benefit 175 people and provide clean drinking water for the village whose inhabitants currently have no access to clean safe water, resulting in waterborne diseases striking every week.
The BWCA’s target is to raise nearly £10,000 to help Shibangwa village, which exists in a state of real poverty as there are no local health services and there is no access to safe water. This will be the second Just a Drop project to be funded by the BWCA and its Members.
As a small charity Just a Drop relies on funding from individuals, groups, companies and organisations in order to keep delivering their life-saving work. With your support and donations, through the Just a Drop JustGiving page we aim to reach our target swiftly.
The charity is called ‘Just a Drop’ because that really is all it takes to make a difference to those at risk of disease and death from unsafe water.
If you are a UK tax payer, please use Gift Aid. This means that for every £1 you donate, the charity will get an extra 25p from the Government.
