This year I am taking part in the International Rose of Tralee Festival as a Rose Escort. Instead of seeking sponsorship to pay for my participation in this year’s event, I have decided to pay my own way and to promote three charities to raise awareness and much-needed funds. One of these is Pieta House. This fantastic organisation works with so many families throughout Ireland. The key message to remember is “It’s Okay not to be Okay!” What may seem a small donation amount to you may be life changing for someone else.
