Story
I was just scrolling through my FB feed and in popped a request to be one of 25 people to raise money to celebrate Stonewall's 25th Anniversary. It was only after I scrolled down that I realised it meant throwing myself out of a perfectly good aeroplane strapped to someone else for no apparent good reason - along with 24 other lunatics.
But I thought, why not... unlike many other friends of mine, I didn't think that I would make a tough guy competition or cycling from San Francisco to LA, but I thought the least I could do was leave an aeroplane out the side door - albeit with a parachute!
For those of you that don't know much about Stonewall, they campaign for equality for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people here in the UK and overseas. Whilst things are 100% better for us in the UK than they were when I was a teenager, they are not perfect and homophobic abuse still takes place. But in many other countries, the equalites I take for granted - the freedom to live my life without fear of being jailed or executed for who I love - don't exist.
So please donate something and help me raise some money for this awesome charity.
