I am doing this challenge for the Professional Cricketers Trust because I have experienced how much they can help Cricketers in very difficult circumstances. When Tom Smith lost Laura it was devastating to him, his family and everyone around them. The Professional Cricketers Trust and the PCA were there for him when he Rosie and Clara needed them the most and doing the walk is our part in thanking them and raising funds for them to continue doing the amazing work they do for Cricketers and former Cricketers. As someone who is scared of heights I certainly have some apprehension about the challenge but I also know doing it in memory of Laura will be a great help especially as she would have been the first to ridicule me if I start being wet!
