I will be among the thousands of runners taking part in next year's Coventry Half Marathon and will be doing so in aid of Zoe's Place Baby Hospice.

At the Coventry Telegraph we launched the Magic Million campaign earlier this year to help the children's hospice reach the £1million mark needed so they can open their doors seven days a week.

And I decided that rather than just writing about people doing their bit for the cause, it was about time I did something about it myself.
